This past Tuesday, sixteen individuals from FRESPACE and from our turtle volunteer group, gathered to help clean-up the state park beach. We still had a lot of debris from Hurricane Irma with the bulk of it at Jeremy's Inlet. We gathered two trailer loads of debris from the beach. With the second load, we got our 4-wheel drive Honda Pioneer stuck in the soft sand but thankfully we had our rangers to pull us free. Thank-you for all of your help! The beach looks so much better and now the debris won't end up back in the ocean.
